The Kongu Polytechnic College has been established in the year 2007 with an annual intake of 240, by the endeavour of "Kongu Nadu Educational and Charitable Trust". As the name has "Charitable", the motto behind the start of this college is to impart quality education to the children from rural and urban areas and make them to compute and compete in the world of technology.
Hostel Facility
Separate Hostel facilities are available for Boys and Girls. The Hostel provides accommodation for all the needy students. The rooms are furnished with Table, Chair, Cot and Fan. The Hostel Mess is run by the College Management itself. The mess charges will be on sharing basis. Every effort is made to keep the bill at affordable level, with the cooperation of student in avoiding wastage use of water economically, etc.
Scholarship Facility
The Kongu Polytechnic College motivates its students providing suitable awards and rewards for the students who stand academically first. Each year the first two rank holders in their respective branches of study are felicitated appropriately. Similarly, those students with 100% class attendance are also recognized and suitably felicitated. Students winning prizes at paper presentations, athletics, cultural and other events are also felicitated during the College Annual Day celebrations. Deserving students are accommodated in the Hostel free of charge and substantial waiver in tuition fee is also provided.
