The Department of Entomology has started since the inception of this institution, M.Sc(Ag) programme in Entomology was started in 1998.

Library Details:The library has a collection of nearly 25,000 volumes including books, bound journals, thesis and other reading materials. The Library also receives newsletters, bulletins, reports, pamphlets, etc from national and international research institutes, Automation and Networking under INFLIBNET program and Internet Connectivity.
