UKF College of Engineering & Technology, Kollam is managed by Universal Knowledge Foundation, a trust. The institute has a clear vision and objective, in the quest for being an outstanding centre for learning and development of human resource, which is conducive to the fast changing national and international situations.
The College Library has more than 12000 Collection of Books covering all disciplines of science, engineering, technology, humanities and social science and over 500 CD ROMs. The reference section got reprographic facility for students. The library currently subscribes to more than 48 national and 12 international journals in engineering and sciences. The library subscribes on-line journals of IEEE, McGraw-Hill, Springr, Science Direct and J-Gate. The students are provided with audio and video reference. The library hall is very specious and can accommodate nearly 120 students at a time. The library is computerized with a separate on-line digital library and staff resource center.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel facilities are provided for boys and girls within the campus with homely atmosphere and food under extreme care of resident wardens. Each hostel is provided with a public telephone booth and other needed facilities.
The Training & Placement Cell has frequent personal interaction with the students which in turn help to understand & realize their skill areas better. This helps us in implementing the right kind of training program for the students.
