Vivekananda Institute of Technology Bangalore is managed by Janatha Educational Society, which is one of the established names in the field of higher education in India. Vivekananda Institute of Technology is spread over an area of 25 acres of land and provides all the facilities, within its campus.
Seminar/conference Halls: The campus has two seminar halls with sophisticated modern facilities with sufficient number of seating arrangement.
R&D and internet browsing centre: The R & D and Internet Browsing Centre is housed in a newly constructed independent block and is well equipped with 100 High Configuration Computer Systems for browsing purpose.
Library: The Library is fully computerized using the open source software’s (e-Granthalaya) and all the books, Journals and Identity cards have been bar-coded.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls with well furnished, ventilated and necessary amenities for students. These include indoor games, reading room and audio-video facilities. The hostel mess provides delicious nutritive food.
The college has a separate Training and Placement Cell, under Training and Placement Officer. The cell also acts as a coordinator for the Industrial Training and Placement of pre-final and final year students. This cell arranges Industrial Training programme of about 30 days for the pre-final year students immediately after the completion of their 6th semester examination.
