In keeping pace with the sweeping technological advancements, the necessity to provide technical education to the youth in general and the Catholics in particular, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kottar in Kanyakumari District established this Polytechnic College in August 1984.
This Polytechnic College was granted recognition by the Government of Tamil Nadu as a Co-educational institution with a total intake of 180 seats vides G.O.763 EST/84 dt.13.6.1984, offering three branches of Engineering such as Civil, Mechanical and Electronics & Communication.
Library : The college Library is housed in the Main Block. It has books related to the course of study and of general interest. Further, the library subscribes journals and magazines.
Canteen : A canteen is run for the convenience of the students and staff of the college.
Store : There is a store which provides stationary items and varieties of toffee.
Hostel Facility
There is a men's hostel within the campus with facilities to accommodate 150 students. Dividing system is adopted to run the mess.
