Softview was started in 1990 to develop language computing products and after running it successfully for years started the Graphics and Animation training division in 1994 and was the first Institution in Tamilnadu to run such a Course. This Institute not only provides training to the students in the field of DTP, Graphics and Animation but also provides consultancy services free of cost to the students who want to start their own DTP centres or Digital Studios to realize the media dreams of many aspiring students.The quality of its training services has yielded softview with ISO:9001 certification.
The institute has got a well equipped studio to meet out the industrial standards with a separate setup for Chroma keying (Blue Screen and Green Screen) Back ground environment. The Hardware infrastructure related to prepress such as Scanner and Digital camera are also available and the students are being taught to operate them practically.
Softview students have been placed in Satellite Channels, Production Studios, Major Publishers, Cinema studios, Newspapers and MNCs.
