K.Subburaj who is known for his professional ethics in the filed of Building Construction.Its main aim is to educate rural folk in the field of techincal education and make them employable.
The Campus of SSR Polytechnic College spreads over to 15 acres and even for the first year,there is a built-up area of 45,000 square feet with modern facilities. The management has taken a good decision to provide the state the state-of -the art facilities. To Quote, the computer lab has been excellently established with 24 hours internet.
Library: Libraries are the soul of every Institutions of higher learning. It is here that the students develop their own individual style of learning and reach out for more. The pursuance of excellence is a worthy goal for any student, scholar or academic. Keeping with this belief, SSR Polytechnic College have spacious libraries with a good collection of books.
Apart from books, the library subscribes to a number of Publications both National and International journals to keep the students abreast on developments of their interest as well as on general topics.
Laboratory: In any Institutions of higher education, its standard is indicated by the sophistication of its laboratories. At SSR Polytechnic College the faculty as well as the students are encouraged and given full support to pursue their research according to various syllabus of different courses. With this objective in mind the laboratories at SSR Group of Educational Institutions have been set up with elaborate facilities.
SSR polytechnic has an active Placement Section, managed by a Placement officer and supporting faculty. The section organises the campus interviews every year for the benefit of the students of all the department in the polytechnic.
