The Kavery Engineering College is a unit of The Kavery Educational Trust. The Trust was established and registered in the year 1997. The college is being managed by The Kavery Educational Trust which runs a Polytechnic College in the name of " The Kavery Polytechnic College " (Initially Polytechnic College was started with three branches of Diploma Courses now it has seven Engineering branches) and " The Kavery College of Education & The Kavery Teacher Training Institute " that are dedicated to train up the students to be dedicated teachers. Also the trust gathered that Engineers rule over the entire world. Hence a proposal was flashed out to establish a Engineering College in the name and style of " The Kavery Engineering College ". The college is located in Mechari on the Salem to Mettur main road in 27 acres wide calm location.
