Union Christian Polytechnic College is established in the year 2008 by the members of Union Christian Educational and Charitable Trust, Kuttaicode, the manifestation of a long felt need of youths of the rural village for technical education. It is situated 15 kms from Marthandam and very near to Karakonam Medical College. The natural surroundings of this college campus is very conducive to students and the building site area is in the midst of green rubber plantation.
The college has requisite infrastructural facilities as per the norms of Director of Technical Education, Chennai and the AICTE Delhi.
Library- The college library is housed in the Main Block. It has books related to the course of study and of general interest. Further the library subscribes journals and magazines.
Internet - An exclusive internet centre with 25 computer system is on operation. A broadband leased line internet provides uninterrupted and unlimited connectivity at high speed. Students of all branches can utilize this facility
Hostel Facility
The Polytechnic hostel provides residential facility for students. The hostel mess is run on dividing system. Admission to the hostel will be made by the Principal and Deputy
