The institute was started in the year 2007. The goal of the institute is to develop and strengthen the professional competencies among the prospective teachers and provide rigorous high quality and relevant education to facilitate life long learning. It aims to develop effective skills and techniques in the students along with intelligent vision and dedication to teach in global environment effectively. Special emphasis is laid upon providing the right environment for the development of the intellect and the personality of the prospective teachers. To help the students master these skills, a number of modern techniques are used such as classroom teaching, simulated teaching, microteaching, seminars, and exposure to real-life experiences. Besides these, students are encouraged and provided guidance to undertake various projects on social issues so that they may have exposure to the practical aspects as well. The experts from their respective fields are also invited to give talks in order to broaden the horizon of the students' knowledge. Visits to different educational institute of national repute are also arranged. The students of this institute attend a month-long rigorous teaching training in the prestigious Senior Secondary schools of Palwal and Faridabad under the supervision of well-qualified, experienced, and intelligent faculty members.
