Manav Rachna College of Engineering (MRCE), Faridabad is the flagship Institution of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) promoted by Uthan Educational Society, a Society registered under the Registration of Societies Act 1860. The College was established in the year 2004 and has been conducting B.Tech. and M.Tech. courses in various fields of Engineering & Technology apart from MBA & MCA. The Campus has been designed and constructed close to nature with splendid environs, aesthetics and eco-friendly atmosphere. It is ideally located in the hub of industry prosperous towns namely Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida apart from the National Capital Territory of Delhi. MRCE is NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council, an autonomous institution of UGC) accredited and is among the very few engineering institutes of the country to be conferred an A Grade by NAAC. All courses being offered in the College are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of Haryana and affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. MDU has also granted permanent affiliation to MRCE.

1 .	B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering
	Eligibility Should have passed the 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: (a) Chemistry (b) Bio-Technology (c) Computer Science (d) Biology. The candidate should have scored minimum 65% marks in aggregate. Should have passed Diploma Course in Engineering & Technology of three years duration or more with minimum 60% marks in aggregate, from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent.

2 .	B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering
	Eligibility (a) First preference in the order: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronics & Telecom Engineering/Electronics Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate along with valid GATE score. b) Second preference in the order: (i) B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics Instrumentation & Control Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Instrumentation & Control Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/Control Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate. (ii) Biomedical Engineering/Mechatronics with 60% marks in aggregate alongwith valid GATE score. (c) Third preference in the order: (i) M.Sc. (Electronics) with 60% marks in aggregate; (ii) M.Sc (Physics with specialization in Electronics) with 60% marks in aggregate with valid GATE score in Electronics & Comm. Engineering/Electronics Engineering.

	Other Details If valid GATE score qualified candidates are not available, then remaining vacant seats will be open to other than GATE qualified candidates and shall be filled on the basis of merit of aggregate marks of qualifying degree as mentioned above with same order of preference.

3 .	B.Tech. Information Technology

5 .	M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering
	Eligibility (a) First preference will be given to candidate having B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engg / Computer Engg. /Information Technology / MCA with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score in Computer Engg. (b) Second preference will be given to B.E./B.Tech in Electronics Engg/ Electrical Engg. / M.Sc. Computer / M.Sc. Electronics, M.Sc. IT with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score in Computer Engg. (c) Third preference will go to B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics Engg., Electrical Engg. / M.Sc. Computer / M.Sc. Electronics, M.Sc. IT/M.Sc. Software/M.Sc. Maths, M.Sc. Statistics and M.Sc. Physics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score in respective branches. (d) Fourth preference will go to B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics Engg., Electrical Engg./M.Sc. Computer/M.Sc. Electronics, M.Sc. IT/M.Sc. Software/M.Sc.-Maths, M.Sc. Statistics and M.Sc. Physics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and without GATE score.

6 .	M.Tech. Mechanical Engineering
	Eligibility (a) First preference will be given to B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engg/Production Engg/ Automobile Engg or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score. (b) Second preference will be given to B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engg with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and without valid GATE score.

7 .	MBA (Master of Business Administration)
	Eligibility Should have minimum 50% marks in Bachelor’s or Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.OR Pass in Final Examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India/Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India/Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

	Admission Procedure Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of (i) CMAT score; Group Discussion and Personal Interview: to be conducted by the Department of Business Administration, MRCE.

8 .	MCA
	Eligibility Should have minimum 50% marks in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level. OR Should have minimum 50% marks in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline with Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects.OR Should be a pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks
