Mahendhira College of Education is a unit of Mahendra educational Trust established in 2006 to impart the professional course of Bachelor of education for those who seek to become teachers. The college is situated in Minnampalli about 13 Kms from Salem. The College is recognized by NCTE and was formerly affiliated to Periyar University and now it is affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University.
Eminent and efficient talented teaching faculty as per the UGC and NCTE norms are serving in this institution. The Library has numerous reference books, journals and dailies to upgrade the knowledge of the students by extensive reading. Separate Laboratories for physical science, biological science, educating technology and psychology with adequate equipments and the computer laboratory with internet connection is available. The College buses are operated from all important places in and around salem at a radial distance of 50 Kms. A Well Furnished canteen providing quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is functioning at reasonable rates. There is a large playground with separate courts for the major games.
