The Institute of Hotel Management, Gangtok, Sikkim was set up in the year 1990 as a Food Craft Institute by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India and Govt. of Sikkim with a motto to provide job-oriented and professional education to all the students from any stream from any parts of the country.
Three multistoried Buildings providing facilities to the Administration, Practical Laboratories, Computer Lab, Library, Audio Visual Lab etc. In the campus there is lot of space for parking facilities and playground. The Audio-visual room is equipped with, LCD Projector, Computers, OHP/TV and a wide range of teaching software.
Hostel Facility
One Boys Hostel providing accommodation to 64 students is there and Girls Hostel, Staff Quarter, Principal Quarter and more boys Hostels are coming up in the campus to make it fully residential.
