Bhubaneswar Kendra of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was inaugurated by the then President of India Late Sri Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy on 27th Dec 1978 and the Bhavan's Centre for Communication and Management (BCCM) was inaugurated by the former President of India Late Sri R. Venkatraman on 4th January 2003.The BCCM has added another feather in its cap by introducing two years full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). This programme is approved and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)by Govt. of India , Ministry of HRD, as an autonomous organization. The centre was inaugurated by His Hon'ble Excellency Sri Rameswar Thakur, the then Governor of Orissa on 14th Sept' 2006.
Library :The BCCM Library with its modern collection of knowledge resources and innovative information services fills an essential role for students, faculty, and the surrounding community in their intellectual pursuits. It is a hybrid library with the state-of-the-art technological applications. The Library holds knowledge resources predominantly related to management and allied subjects. The Library offers a range of information services to support the learning process set to the highest professional standards.

The placement cell at BCCM is involved right from the beginning of the year be it the preparation of the placement brochure to the summer placements and the final recruitments their efforts are always directed towards providing the best interface as representatives of an institute of high repute.
