R.A.S College of education has been established in the memory of Late Rao Abhay Singh an eminent personality and great social reformer of the region. College with dedicated, qualified and hard working faculty lays strong emphasis on traditional values, so that tomorrow you not only become a successful teacher but also an ethical and responsible human being.
Library: Rao Abhay Singh College of education has a full fledged library and information centre with all the modern facilities like computer, internet facility and printer. The library has collection of nearly 7250 books (including text books, reference books) and 41 Journals. The library caters to the needs of 252 regular users in the college which includes 16 faculty members, 35 M.Ed. students, 100 B.Ed. students and 50 D.Ed. students. It also provides information service to the P.G. students, Research Scholars and teachers from the neighboring academic institutions and colleges.
Sports: For physical and social development of the students, two days athletic meet has been organized by college every year.
TransportationThe college has its own Transportation Facility.
Computer Lab: The Computer Lab is must to stay ahead in the field of Information and Communication Technology.The college has a Computer Laboratory fitted with fifteen computers with printers and scanner and is equipped with internet facility.All academic work relating to holding of seminars and conferences is carried out through the computers. Qualified and trained staff is handling the computers and providing instructions to the students. Computer laboratory is used for the benefit of teacher educators.
Language Lab: In Indian context, the need for proper training in English sounds system, is very much required. When we interact with people from different regions of the country, it is generally observed that either they fail to produce a particular sound or they produce incorrectly. So it becomes essential that students belonging to various regions are exposed to the same standard material in the language laboratory in order to develop uniform and acceptable habits of speech. To upgrade & update the language proficiency of students and prospective teachers in speaking English & other language, Rao Abhay Singh College of Education, has established a Language Laboratory.

The Guidance and Placement cell of the college organises various activities in the college like as:- How to face interview, How to prepare a resume, personality grooming programmes, improving communication skill,guidance for various competitive exams.(HTET,CTET,RTET,NET) any many other such activities which helps the students to compete confidently with others.
