Indira Gandhi National College, Kurukshetra is located on the outskirts of Village Dhanora Jattan on the Ladwa- Mustafabad Road. This college is the outcome of the strenuous and ceaseless efforts made by its founder President Late Sh. Om Prakash Garg. Its foundation stone was laid on Jan. 24, 1974 by Chief Minister of Haryana Late Bansi Lal. And the building was inaugurated by Governer of Haryana Late Sh. Birender Narayan Chakarbarti on Nov. 30, 1975. This College is governed by Indira Gandhi National College Education Society, Ladwa and affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, on grant-in-aid from Haryana Govt. and U.G.C.
