Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Shillong

The Institute of Hotel Management Shillong is located at the heart of the city’s quiet VIP area, amidst the heather covered slopes and unpolluted pine scented environs-an ideal atmosphere for the young to grow. Our aim at IHM Shillong is to prepare well-rounded graduates for employment in hospitality industry, hotel, tourism sector, management and event management position at a global level.

Applied Training Centre–The Government of Meghalaya has handed over the YatriNiwas (centrally funded) to the Institute for running as a training Hotel to provide an elaborative skilled Man – power for all the round development in the Tourism and Hotel Industry.
 
 Hostel Facility
Though the Institute is yet to have its own hostel facilities however, the Institute will assist in searching accommodation for the students.

The Institute has an active placement and career counseling which provides placement and industrial training to all students.
