Library: Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathi Raj College of Engineering Central Library is a Central facility to support the teaching, research and student community of the college.The library has been successfully catering to the needs of all the departments like Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Basic Science and Humanities.
The Central library is having a digital library with fifteen computers connected to Internet and students can browse online journals.The library is further strengthened by subscribing to e-journals from IEEE and ASME. Around 240 journals are accessible online. The library is having a membership to DELNET(NEW DELHI) through which Inter library loan facility is provided.
Canteen: At MVGRCE the students can experience good education along with hygienic food offered at the canteen managed by our experienced members of canteen committee. Tea, coffee and snacks will be available during the morning time. At afternoon and at night the students can select their food from the menu which contains vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes at reasonable rates. The students can have soft drinks and confectionary also from the canteen. There are separate cabins for faculty and members of the staff.
Hostel Facility
At present, the college provides state-of-the-art hostel accommodation to girl students within the campus. The girl’s hostel has a full-time warden, recreation facilities, a small library and reading room, power backup, Internet access among other facilities. A privately owned and maintained boys hostel abetting the college campus is being encouraged to provide the necessary residential services for boys.
Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of the institute. Training & Placement Office facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institute besides collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internship and training program of students. The institute has provided complete infrastructure to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews besides catering to other logistics for effective functioning of the T&P cell.
