Bharati Vidyapeeth established Yashwantrao Chavan Law College at Karad from the academic year 2000-2001. The College is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur and is recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
The library is well equipped with Text Books, Law Journals, Law Reports and computer with CD-ROM and Multi Media facilities.
The College has established ‘Placement Assistance Cell’. The college invites Law Firms, HR Personnel of Companies and BPO firms, Recruiting Agencies etc. for career guidance and job opportunities for law students. The college also with the help of alumnus seeks and explores opportunities for the students.
