Shivaji University : Department of Foreign Languages

The Department of Russian (Now Dept. of Foreign Languages) was established in August, 1970.

Computer Lab, Language Laboratory, Audio-Visual Room.The Department has a well equipped air conditioned language laboratory (25 setter), latest Audio-visual equipments. The Department also maintains a good library, consisting of more than three thousand books in Russian/German/Japanese. These Text-books, Dictionaries and literature has been received ex-gratis from the erstwhile USSR Government and Germany.Audio-visual Aids like T.V./VCR, Tape recorders, Slide Projectors etc.Reading room with Foreign magazines and news papers.
