K. J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (KJSIEIT), was established by the Somaiya Trust in the year 2001, at Ayurvihar campus, Sion. The institute was set up primarily in response to the need for imparting quality education in the modern fields of Information Technology and allied branches of Engineering and Technology, a big leap to develop ourselves into a prosperous nation of the 21st century.

Library:KJSIEIT library is privileged to support the institute's progress towards its vision and mission.It has built-up area of approx.350 Sq Meters, it has the sitting capacity of 110 students.Collection comprises of about 14000 learning Resources covering the core fields of interest in engineering and related subjects like Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Mechanical, Electrical and Mathematical Sciences etc.

Training and Placement (T & c) Cell interacts continuously with different industries and Training Organizations.Avaya Global Connect Satyam Computers Services Ltd, Accenture, Patni Computers, Godrej Infotech, NSE IT, VSNL Global are some of the recruiters.
