Shamrao Patil (Yadravkar) Educational and Charitable Trust has been contributing in the mission of transforming rural India into developed nation by running Sharad Institute of Technology’s College of Engineering at Yadrav, Ichalkaranji (SITCOE) with innovation, creativity, human intelligence and patience.“Service to Human being is Service to God”.
SITCOE which has very eco-friendly campus and is equipped with state-of-art infrastructure. We have well equipped labs, workshops and libraries to help students in attaining highest standards in academics, research and professional skills. The campus has adequate sports infrastructure to take care of Sports and recreational activities.
Library:Our Library is well maintained and well furniture. We have about 10196 books, 1907 titles. More than 80 National and International Journals are subscribed to currently which facilitates research in our college. We also have multiple copies of National, Regional and Local Newspapers and Magazines. Also we have E-Journals viz., Springer-Link 520 and J-Gate. We have Book Bank scheme for toppers and other students. The total management of Library is from SLIM software. We have a specious Library hall with separate reading room for boys and girls. The total environment in Library as well as reading room is very silent and useful for study.
Hostel Facility
The boys hostel accommodates 60 students and 60 girl students can be accommodated in the ladies hostel. Now college is planning for accomodation for 500 boys and 300 girls student. Mess ensure quality food and water purification system for good drinking water. Hot water through solar system is provided at every floor. Uninterrupted power supply is provided with the help of generators.
The Dept. of training & Placement at Sharad Institute of Technology College of Engineering has an active Training & placement cell which caters to the placement and training of our Engineering students.
