Jat College of polytechnic, Kaithal is a technical institution. This institute was founded in 2008, aiming to offer various courses in technical education to people from Kaithal district & other part of state. According to researches, due to lack of technical institutes in this region, the creation of polytechnic was seen as the answer to the local economic and social needs. 1 .	Diploma in Civil Engineering
	Eligibility Passed in 10th examination from board of school education Haryana or an equivalent examination form a recognized board/university with 35% marks. Lateral Entry - All those candidates who have passed ITI at least with one year, who have passed 10th level school leaving examination before admission to ITI courses. 10+2 vocational or 10+2 with PCM would be eligible in diploma engg. 	Admission Procedure Admission is totally based on the merit/rank of Diploma Entrance Test after passing Metric exam.
