Lord Krishna Polytechnic College, Kapurthala has been established in 2003 to provide the quality education to the doorstep of a common man. Kapurthala is a formerly princely state. It is known as Paris of Punjab for having distinguished designs of the buildings by the Rulers of the Kapurthala. The Rail Coach Factory (RCF) and Science City are also in the vicnity as a pride of the area. The Punjab Technical University (PTU) has also been setup at Kapurthala. The building has been constructed as per the norms of AICTE, New Delhi / Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industry Training, Chandigarh. Punjab Govt.The foundation stone of this Polytechnic College was laid by S. Mohinder Singh Kaypee, the then Technical Education Minister, Govt. of Punjab on 20th March 2003

	Eligibility For First Year : Matric (10th) Pass with Math, English and Science For Second Year: 10+2 (Vocational) / ITI Pass/ 10+2 Non Medical The admission procedure for different courses is same as prescribed by Punjab Govt. & Punjab State Board of Technical Education & industrial Training, Chad. Minimum qualification for admission to thease courses is Matric Pass with English, Math and Science. For admission to Punjab and All india Quota, a Joint Entrance Test (J.E.T.) isconducted by P.S.B.T.E.& I.T.,Chd. On the Basis of Test, centralized admission is made by P.S.B.T.E.& I.T.,Chd.

2 .	Diploma in Civil Engineering
