1 .	B.Sc. Nursing
	Eligibility Higher Secondary school certificate examination (12 years course) Or Senior School Certificate examination (10+2). Or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) with minimum of 45% aggregate marks PCBE.
	Duration 4 years

	Other Details Selection Criteria The seats will be filled by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot by conducting centralized counseling for admission as per Punjab Govt. notification. No. 5/7/2016-5HB-III/2147 dated 13/05/2016. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31 December of the year of admission.

2 .	B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic Course
	Eligibility Passed the higher secondary or senior secondary or intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the university.

	Other Details Selection Criteria The seats will be filled by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot by conducting centralized counseling for admission as per Punjab Govt. notification. Obtained a certificate in General Nursing Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the state nurse’s registration council. A male nurse, trained before the implementations of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with state nurses registration council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas: O.T. Technique/ Ophthalmic Nursing/ Leprosy Nursing/ TB Nursing/ Psychiatric Nursing/Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing/Community Health Nursing/Cancer Nursing/ Orthopedic Nursing

3 .	General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
	Eligibility 10+2 class with 40% aggregate Marks.
	Duration 3 years

	Other Details Selection Criteria Minimum age for admission will be 17 years (as on 31st December of that year). The upper age limit is 35 years for ANM/For, LHV, there is no age bar. Minimum education, 10+2 class with 40% aggregate Marks. 10+2 vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council. ANM training (i.e.) 10+1½ years training should also have +2 or its equivalent examination. Students shall be medically fit. Entrance / Selection Test: Selection of the candidate should be based on the merit of 10+2 Marks and the entrance examination held by competent authority.

4 .	M.Sc. Nursing
	Eligibility The minimum education requirements shall be passing of B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Hons./Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 55% aggregate marks in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
