Smt. S.K. Somaiya Junior College of Education is one of Somaiya Vidyavihar group of Institutions. It strives for all round development of the teacher-trainees.This institution was established in July 1962 with the main objective of helping women become self reliant by qualifying themselves to teach in primary school as teachers.Initially the Course was offered in the Gujarati Medium.
