Since inception in the year 1984, the department has constantly and significantly contributed towards teaching and research as a result of this concerted effort, the State Government has accorded the status of ‘Center for Excellence’ to the department in 2010.
Library :Central Library equipped with textbooks, research journals, day to day magazines and Internet facility through Broad-band and VSAT.
Hostel Facility
Three Boys’ Hostel with accommodation facility of 100, 60 and 300 boys respectively. One Girls’ Hostel with accommodation facility for 100 girls.
Placement cell actively engaged in the placement and personality development of the professional and traditional course students.
