Maharana Pratap Dental College is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University and is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The Dental College building is constructed on a huge span of 2,00,000 sq. ft. area. It is situated in themidst of lush green surroundings away from thechaos of the city to provide a suitable environmentfor students.
The institute has well equipped infrastructure facilities. The main building of the dental college comprises of an administrative block, eight dental departments, six medical sciences departments, five non clinical dental departments, a well stocked library and a digital library with broadband services.The state-of-the-art Lecture Halls can accommodate 100 students at a time and are equipped with all the necessary modern instruments. It comprises LCD projectors, overhead projectors, audio-visual devices, speaker systems etc.The Dental Departments are well equipped with fully automated GNATUS dental chairs complete with all types of instrumental connections required for various types of dental surgical processes and treatment.The spacious Dental Library is adequately stocked with more than 10000 books and subscribes to over thirty national and international journals.
Hostel Facility
There are separate hostels for boys and girls within the premises of the institute. The hostels are provided with 24-hour water and electricity supply back-up. Mess facility is provided to the students along with an additional facility of a cafeteria.
