Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) | MD Homoepathy

1 .	Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
	Eligibility Candidates should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board in one and the same attempt in the following group of subjects with the minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany and Zoology. (45% marks for Backward Classes/ 40% marks for Most Backward Classes/ 35% marks for Scheduled Castes / Tribes
	Duration 4 ½ yrs. Academic course + one yr. rotatory internship

	Other Details Age limit - A candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the first BHMS degree course.

2 .	MD Homoepathy
	Eligibility A Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery or an equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule to the HCC Act, after undergoing a course of study of not less than five years and six months’ duration including one year compulsory internship OR A Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (Graded Degree) or an equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule to the HCC Act after undergoing a course of study of not less than two years’ duration.
	Duration 3 year’s duration having two Parts I & II. Part I is of 18 months’ duration, out of which the first 12 months shall be of compulsory house job. Part II consists of 18 months devoted to speciality subjects
	Admission Procedure Selection will be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination
	No. of Seats Each speciality has 6 seats of which 3 ones are earmarked for Govt. quota which is filled by the candidates selected through entrance exam conducted by the State Government. Remaining 3 seats in each speciality are filled by the Management. One among each of the discipline belonging to management is earmarked for its faculty
