The Centre for Studies in Biotechnology was established by Dibrugarh University in collaboration with Regional Medical Research Centre (ICMR), Lahowal in the month of September 2005 to impart quality education and constructive research in the field of Biotechnology. The Centre is aimed at generating adequate competent human resource with cutting edge expertise to satisfy individual and institutional needs and also to become a leader in biotechnology education in the country.

M.Sc. Biotechnology

1 .	M.Sc. Biotechnology
	Eligibility Candidates having Bachelor degree of any recognized University/Institution in Biological Sciences/Agricultural Sciences/Veterinary Sciences/Pharmaceutical Sciences/Medical Sciences with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and having chemistry as one of the optional subjects/ or chemistry paper (s) with equivalent weightage at the undergraduate level are eligible to apply for the course. Candidates appearing/due to appear in the final year of their respective qualifying examinations in April/May are also eligible to apply but their eligibility for admission shall be considered only when they obtain the minimum qualifying marks and produce original mark sheet of the final year at the time of admission.
