Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Polytechnic (Formerly Arunachal Pradesh Polytechnic), Itanagar was established in the year 2002 at Itanagar in Papumpare district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is the first polytechnic college of Arunachal Pradesh and an ISO 9001:2000 Certified institute. Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Polytechnic has been set up under the Technician Education Project-III of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India with the financial assistance from World Bank. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Directorate of Higher and Technical education Itanagar.
