In 1989-90 the Government of Maharashtra granted permission to start Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya and Hospital (B.A.M.S.) on no grant basis. The B.M.A.M is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik and is approved by Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai.
It is also approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) New Delhi. The teachers in the institute are motivated to provide personal attention to student academic needs and to monitor their college sports and other extra curricular activities.
The hospital has all the modern facilities like labour room, gynaec room, X-ray, Eye dept. Pathology & Panchakarma, Operation Theater, ECG, an ambulance fully loaded and other facilities.This hospital, is supported by many well experienced surgeons and specialist.
Hostel Facility
The institute has hostels with a capacity to accommodate 400 students. With single and double seated rooms. It also has a mess in the same premises.
A separate hostel facility with double/single bed occupancy along with mess is available for girl students. Hostel is provided with internet , library, indoor games facilities. A lady warden is deployed to take care of the need of college girls.
Scholarship Facility
Concession is provided to Maharashtra State domicile S.C./S.T./V.J./N.T. students by Social Welfare Department.
