The Savitribai Phule College of Nursing, Kolhapur takes pride to offer Basic B.Sc. Nursing, a professional Degree Programme, for girls and boys, under Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha started from August 2009-10.
Library:The college has a library with a wide range of the latest relevant books. Every year books and journals are added to the library. The library contains textbooks, reference books, journals, magazines from various related fields of nursing. The total number of books is 1091 and total number of journals and magazines are 10. The library is digitalized. There are separate computer for staff and students.
Labortories:Foundation of nursing is to provide comprehensive nursing care to the clients admitted in the hospitals, students will be given preliminary training in patient care at the college laboratory there is a five bedded Foundation of nursing laboratory where each bed is provided with complete bed unit. There are two technologically advanced manikins, and CPR manikin, teaching and learning aids, simulation equipments for the quality learning of the students.
Hostel Facility
Hostel facility is available and compulsory for the girl students within the campus. Each student is provided in residing room with a bed, a locker, a table and a chair.
