Ajara Mahavidyalaya Ajara was started in the form of B.Com. Part I class in 1982. In 1983 we started B.A. Part I and in 1993 B.Sc.Part I. Vocational wing was started at +2 level in 1993.
The college classes were conducted then in the premises of the Ajara High School Ajara and the college library was in a small room of 10’x10’ with the Librarian’s office in the same room.

Hostel Facility
College Women’s Hostel caters to the residential needs of women students of the college, mainly Under-graduate students. The Non Resident Warden and the Resident Warden of the hostel look after the affairs of the hostel and maintain discipline and well being of the inmates. It is situated just behind the college bulding and 48 Students can be accommodated in the hostel.
