T.K.M. College of Arts and Science, established in 1965 by the TKM College Trust, is an acclaimed citadel of learning in the city of Kollam.
Presently, nine UG programmes and five PG programmes under the regular aided scheme. There are two research centres functioning in the institution.
library: The book collection is enhanced periodically and the cataloguing and documentation updated. Now the library houses 24,000 volumes covering various subject categories. Periodicals subscribed to total 12. The full-fledged reference section and the reading room occupy spacious halls
Councelling Centre:
The college has a counseling centre to provide counseling to students. The centre conducts counseling sessions to ensure the psychological welfare of the students.
College Canteen
Botanical Garden:The garden is managed by the students of the Botany Department under the guidance of a committee.
Girls' Retiring Room:
Girl students are provided with a retiring room in the campus. They are allowed to use the room when there is no class.
Women's Grievance Redressal Cell
Constituted as per the directive of the University Grants Commission, the cell looks into the grievances, if any, of the girl students and the women members of the staff of the college and takes corrective measures if necessary.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities:
The college has two Ladies hostels of its own. Besides these, the trust runs seven hostels for the students of its institutions. There are separate hostels for girls and boys.
