The Govt. Polytechnic College, Perinthalmanna was established in the year 1961 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Kerala with a noble vision of empowering the people by offering good quality technical education. The Polytechnic College is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and offers four diploma programmes in engineering viz. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
This Polytechnic is located at Angadippuram in Perinthalmanna Taluk, Malappuram District which is identified as one of the backward districts by the Govt. of Kerala. Situated near the Angadippuram railway station and by National Highway 213, spread in 21.57 acres of land of panoramic greenery. The Govt. Polytechnic College made a humble beginning in 1961 with three year diploma courses in civil, mechanical and electrical engineering.
Advanced Computer Lab: The ADVANCED COMPUTER LAB facility can make the students to utilize their maximum creativity and abilities from here. The availability of good quality equipment like 25 desktop computers with 10 KVA-UPS, Printer, DLP, Design softwares etc, are make it to conduct architecture design classes effectively.
co-operative society: There is a co-operative society with all the stationary items for the students and staff like note books,text books,drawing equipments,laboratory records etc are available through the society.College uniform cloths are also available.Every items are sold for a reasonable rate .
Internet Common Facility Centre: This lab is equipped with High speed, broadband internet connection through OFC which is provided by BSNL under the scheme of NATIONAL MISSION FOR EDUCATION under Ministry for HRD. This will ensure ample net facilities in the campus.
