With the blessings of the Almighty, in the middle of the year 2008, six friends, M.J. Jamal Mohamed Ibrahim, A.M. Shahjahan, J. Anwar Basha, O. Mohamed Hussain, A. Sirajudeen and Y. Sadiq Mydeen convened a meeting at Aduthurai, near Kumbakonam in which thirty social workers attended. They discussed and decided to establish a Charitable and Educational Trust for the improvement of our nation and society, committed to social welfare and upliftment of the society. They assured to dedicate themselves to work with full interest for the same purpose.
Library: As-Salam insists that a good library is an essential part of complete education. It creates a conducive environment for studies and reading. A full fledged staff and student's library with current books in excess of 7000 volumes and over 100 journals, periodicals covering every specialty related to Engineering and Management are housed to suit the convenience of all literature search and research purposes, CD's, DVD's and photo copier facilities are also available.
Labs: All labs are designed with modern infrastructure and well equipped. There are two spacious workshops available for engineering needs.
Language Lab: To ensure an effective mode of communication internally, English is the most accepted language. To acquire a language there are four basic requirements ie, Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Our Language Lab is the combination of the above four. Here an expert teaches the specified language through the PC by monitoring the learning process. The state of art facilities and features enable the unique effective, efficient and satisfying means of spoken language enhancement.
Transport: Transport facilities are provided to all the students who are coming from in and around places. The buses are operated to all the routes for the convenience of the students. The college is also well connected through the public transportation system & Railways.
Canteen:College provides subsidized canteen with requisite hygienic standards. It has a spacious dining hall with a modern kitchen. The college canteen is a place where students congregate not only to eat but also to exchange their views.
Sports:A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. In the modern scenario, wherein there is cutthroat competition of being successful. The life of a normal man has no place for patience and time for refining the soul.
Hostel Facility
Separate Hostels for Boys & Girls is available with fully furnished room and quality food. Each student in the hostel finds an inspiring living environment which helps to pursue their career goals more effectively.
