Mahalakshmi Engineering College is an institution that no doubt is in its embryonic stage, yet aims to stride forth in its academic journey with utmost zeal and confidence. Mahalakshmi Engineering College was started under the able leadership of Founders Mr. R. Ravi and Mr. M. Anantharaman. It was established in the academic year 2011-12 with the approval of AICTE, and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
Library : The Library is situated in the main block, maintaining a stock of around 25000 books and ten dedicated internet connected systems for the e-library.
Transportation:College buses operate from MEC to all the main points in and around Trichy for the safety and convenience of staff and students.
Hostel Facility
We have separate and well-furnished hostel facilities for boys and girls. Every hostel is under the care and supervision of a faculty who is responsible for the discipline of the students.
A dedicated hostel block having 150 rooms with each room accommodating 4 students. The hostel block boasts of clean and hygienically maintained rest rooms for male and female students separately. A large study hall available with a warden supervising the studies of the hostel students.
