Modern College of education established in the year 2008 by PALANIESWARI EDUCATIONAL TRUST, Jayankondam, Ariyalur district, is an institution dedicated to rural students seeking higher learning at the graduate, post graduate levels. The Institute is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore and Affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. The college aims at training youth and to empower them to become economically independent, self motivated and above all socially and politically conscious individuals committed to the task of building a strong nation. The college with good infrastructure gives priority to discipline.
Library: The College has well furnished library which is fully computerized.
Transport: For the benefit of Students and Faculty members, Modern Institutions buses are being operated from the nearby places.
Medical Centre: The student and staff health service and counseling are arranged in the college and separate room is allotted for the benefit of sick student and first aid is also arranged for unexpected and urgent needs. Dr. Karunanithi M.B.B.S., M.D is in charge of the medical facilities and counseling.
Stationary Store: A stationary store functioning to the needs of the student and staff of this institution at normal price where students can avail all the stationary items like Pen, Pencil, Books, Note Books, Etc., inside the campus itself.
Canteen: A cafeteria is a type of food service so we arranged canteen facility inside the campus. The canteen is effectively functioning for the benefit of the students can avail tasty and hygienic food, cool drinks, Tea, Coffee, Snacks, etc., from the cafeteria all the food at nominal rate.
Playground: Facilities for various Games and Sports are provided with required privacy to the students. There is a very big playground in which track and field events are conducted. Indoor games like Carom, Chess, badminton etc are provided and interested students are trained.
