Government First grade college Narasimharajapura was established in the year 1985 with the sole intention of making higher education made available to the students in this rural area. Formally students of this area had to go faraway places like chikmagalore, Mangalore, Shivamoga etc, to fulfill their higher education needs due to the lack of transportation facility and economic backwardness, majority of students fail to get higher education.
