Swamy Vivekananda Vidya Samsthe (R) established in 1995 by Sri B. S Yadyurappa – the Founder and the Chairman of our Institution with the purpose of providing value based education in the society. The trust has 10 institutions among them the Kumadvathi First Grade College was started in 2013 with the vision of creating innovative and managing skills in the minds of students. It is located in Shiva Sharanara Nadu Shikaripura, Shivamogga dist. The college is affiliated to Kuvempu Univeristy and approved by Government of Karnataka. Kumadvathi First Grade College is established with a commitment of Science and Management Education.
Transport: Our Institutions have their own fleet of buses for the benefit of students.
Computer Lab: An added facility in the college is the English Language Laboratory consisting of 30 computers installed with Words worth software to hone the language and grammar skills of students.
Library: A well equipped library cum reading room with all the relevant reference materials and good collection of books is available. Specious reading room with comfortable seating arrangement is provided to enable effective reading among the students.
Laboratories
The Kumadvathi First Grade College has well-equipped laboratories for each of the individual subjects to cater to regular day-to-day practical and research activities.
Hostel Facility
With about 50 rooms and spacious dining area, the hostel at the Kumadvathi First Grade College is truly a home away from home. Separate residential areas for boys and girls have adequate facilities to make the students’ stay a comfortable one.
