Kumadvathi College of Education is established in the year 1997 and receiving Grant in Aid from government of Karnataka. It is permanently affiliated to Kuvempu University and recongnised by NCTE and also under UGC – 2f & 12(B). It is housed in a well equipped building as per the NCTE norms. It is situated in a 16 acres land adjacent to Shivamogga road, Shikaripura. The campus refreshes you with its scenic beauty, calm & quite environment, completely conducive for education. The college has a track record of providing good quality teacher education and gets almost 100% result and ranks every year.
Classrooms and Laboratories: A spacious well- lit and fully ventilated classroom provides an ideal atmosphere for learning activities. The college has separate labs for Psychology, Educational Technology and Science. They have all the essential instruments, equipments needed for the demonstrations and experiments.
Computer Lab: Computer lab with adequate number of systems with advanced software is available. LAN with free Internet facility is also provided. A well trained instructor trains the students to handle the computers professionally.
Language Lab: Language Lab with adequate number of Equipments with advanced software is available. A well trained instructor trains the students.

Transportation: The institution provides transportation facilities to the students from College to town and hostel .
Hostel Facility
Hostel facilities with all the provisions are available for both men and women. Food Facility is available. They should follow the rules and regulations of the hostel framed from time to time.
