Teresian College is situated four kms away from the din and busite of the Royal city of Mysore, on the way to the temple town of T.Narasipura. The first PUC classes were started in Arts & Science on 22nd July 1963, with a strength of 69. The initial progress was rapid; by 1966 the number had gone up to 181 out of which 70 were provided accommodation in the campus. Teresian made noteworthy achievements during these years, particularly in the field of sports and games, which gave her a unique place among the women’s colleges in the University and te State.
Library
Auditorium:A good and spacious auditorium is a must for developing extra curricular interests of students. It will accomodate all students when the full student strength is achieved.
Laboratory: College has well equipped lab with separate working room, inoculation room, culture room and instrumentation room, with gel documentation unit with camera, BOD incubator, deep freezer, remi- cooling centrifuge, laminar air flow, electrophoresis units, chromatography equipments, UV trans illuminator, spectro photo meter, colorimeter, trinocular and binocular microscopes.
Computer Lab: Teresian College has well furnished computer lab with 20 computers with internet connections / Bioinformatics lab with LCD projector.
Audio Visual Centre: Slide projector, overheads projector, T.V., V.C.P., Tape recorders and a wide range of audio and video cassettes are available for the use of the students.
Hostel Facility
The college has three well designed and well furnished hostels which can accommodate nearly 500 students. A canteen and a lounge with telephone booth are located in the hostel premises.
