The college is a Government institution. Government First Grade College is located at Hanur, its locality in Kollegala (Tq.) Chamaraganagar (Dist). This is the first co-educational government college established in Hanur etablished 1992 with a humble beginning of few rooms and few students. The college caters to the need of socially and economically backward communities. So our vision is to provide quality education to the unreached.
