Shri Y.M.Mallikarjunaswamy Government First Grade College,Yelandur, chamarajanagara District, has been an important aspect to development of rural students with the aim of making them to grow up responsible citizens in galaxy. it had its innovative begining in the year 2007-08 with strength of 71 both boys and girls students with combinations- BA & BBM in the campus of High school in yelandur, no doubt it has phenomenal growth with 167 students in the year 2014-15 with well qualified teaching faculties accompanying courses BA,BBM & B.COM along combination - HEP, HEK & HES. as of now, with the grants already released for the construction of the building by the government, it is hoped that the college serve the needs of students in the near future and after the completion of building construction the strength of the students expected to increase in the coming year.
