Lungnila Elizabeth School of Social Work, residential college is recognised by University and Higher Education, Government of Manipur (vide. Order No. 10/78/2016-HE) and affiliated to Manipur University. This institution was established in 2015 Under IRDWA-M a registered Society (Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989, with reg.no.87 of 1987) .The Institute is an endeavour program to venerate an innocent child Late. Lungnila Elizabeth whose tragic end intercedes for the safety of vulnerable children with its motto as “Responding to Realities” to be responsive to injustices in a more powerful and transformative way by striving to address the complex social problems and respond globally to individual needs of particularly withstanding against injustices amongst many others. Thus, the institute strives to create a cadre of professionals by providing knowledge and skills to become resourceful and responsible citizens of particularly withstanding against injustices amongst many other. The institute proffered under graduate (UG) courses (BSW & B.A) effective from July, 2016 in affiliation to Manipur University.
