The Moreh College College was established during the academic session 1992-1993 to cater to the higher educational needs of the people of the international border town of Moreh and the surrounding remote villages within the Chandel district of Manipur in the hills. The College is at present a Government Aided College, managed by the Moreh College Governing Body.
The Library is well-stocked with volumes of prescribed text books and journals that have been purchased with the financial assistance from the State Government and University Grants Commission. Students are encouraged to avail of the facilities provided in the library.
The college has a spacious play ground and a basket-ball court for different out-door games and sports activities. There is also a Multi – Purpose Hall for indoor games. College Annual Games and Sports Meet is conducted annually.
Scholarship Facility
Students belonging to Scheduled tribe and Scheduled caste receive Post- matric scholarship from the Department of Tribals & Backward Classes, Government of Manipur.
