Patel B.Ed. College

Patel B.Ed. College is recognized by ERC-NCTE, Bhubaneshwar and affiliated to Ranchi University, Ranchi, run and managed by "Patel Charitable and Welfare Trust", established in 2008 by a group of social workers and leaders of education. The college is situated in a clean and green surroundings of Lodhma in Khunti District, Jharkhand. The college is designed in a way to offer a congenial and comfortable atmosphere of learning with all types of inputs which are required for overall development of personality and competency for the execution and implementation of further and future need of would be educators and to be educate. Having co-educational arrangement with state of the art infrastructure include library, laboratory, multipurpose hall, seminar room etc. It offers an environment of grooming and blooming.

Library: With unique collection of more than 3500 books and reputed national journal marked it a center of attraction of academics educators would be educators and educators fraternity. The library is also provided with photocopying facility for the convenience of students.
Science and Mathematics Laboratory: The college has a Science Lab which is well equipped with all the necessary scientific apparatus and teaching apparatus to apply the theory in practical situation. The college has also a mathematics lab having models, charts, graphs, picture, concreted object etc. to demonstrate, explain and reinforce abstract mathematical ideas.
ICT Resource Center: Our laboratory is equipped with 26 nos. of computer terminals, LAN connected with internet facility. Additionally, it has overhead projector DVD player, TV CD player , cordless micro phone and equipment which can be effectively utilize by the student to make their teaching learning process effective.
Psychology Resource Centre: The college has a separate Psychology Resource Centre with sufficient psychological apparatus to conduct tests as per the B.Ed. syllabus such as mirror drawing test, intelligence test, memory test, some paper tests on personality and teacher effectiveness test which prepares our teacher trainees to understand the psychology of students and apply it to make their teaching more effective.
Multipurpose Hall: Multipurpose hall has an area of 2568.95 Sq ft. with a seating capacity of 300+ students with a stage and dias. The hall is well furnished with seating chairs, microphone and amplifier system, etc.
