Rahat college of Education is Located at a serene and calm vicinity in Madhupur, Dist.Deoghar on the border of Jharkhand and West Bengal famous for its invigorating climate. It is a Junction of the Eastern Railway and all trains on the Howrah-Patna main line including Rajdhani Express stops here. This junction is only 80 kms from Asansol , 60 kms from Chittaranjan and the famous Baidyanath Dham (Deoghar) is just about 50kms from here. The college is situated at the outskirts of Madhupur town , only 3 kms from the railway station. The distance from Kolkata is traversed by train in about 4hrs and from patna it is 5 hrs. Its free from pollution and far away from maddening city rush. The affluent gift of nature, the easy accessibility and the healthy environment speaks its uniqueness.

	Eligibility Candidates with atleast 50 percent marks in the Bachelor′s degree from any recognized university of India or equivalent degree from any foreign university will be eligibile for B.Ed Course. Relaxation of 5 percent marks shall be provided to SC/ST/PH category.A minimum of 40% marks in an entrance test are compulsory for all candidates. Final year appearing Bachelor′s degree candidate students may also apply .They need to submit a valid degree during time of admission failing which admission will stand cancelled.
