Langat Singh College, popularly known as L. S. College, is the premier and oldest higher educational institution of North Bihar having an indelible footprint in educational, literary, social and political life of Bihar. It was founded in 1899 in the backdrop of emerging Indian nationalism by broader community support. Babu Langat Singh played the most prominent part in its establishment.
Library: There is a separate Library building in the college. The Library has open access system. All students and staff have library access cards, ensures the smooth issue and return of books. For quick access of books, each book is indexed under Broad, Narrow and Related Terms in addition to its Author and Title and Publisher and Year of publication. The library is well equipped.
A computer centre has been established having 40 computers with internet connection, printer, scanner and photocopier. Students are utilizing this facility.
Canteen: Langat Singh College Canteen is a small spacious area, with a view of greenery all around, and a variety of refreshments available.
Play Ground: College has a big size field suitable for Football, Cricket, Hockey and Athletics in the college campus which is used by the students and resident of the campus for daily practice and for organization of tournaments. Sometimes these grounds are used by the other colleges, university, local sports organizations and NGO's also.
